How to get to Winter Count

The first step is, go to Phoenix, Arizona.

The route is highlighted in yellow.  Keep your eye out for the Winter Count logo, he'll point the way.

From Phoenix, proceed East on Interstate 10.
(Interstate 10 is an East/West Hwy. but you will be traveling mostly south as you leave Phoenix)

At exit 164 take the AZ-347 Queen's Creek Rd. and then turn right onto West/ Queen's Creek Rd.

Head south on AZ-Hwy 347 for approximately 27 miles, you will go past the Gila Casino, pass through the town of Maricopa, past Harrah's Casino and turn right (west) on Clayton Rd.  This is not a major intersection so watch for the small Winter Count sign and the street sign.

Head west on Clayton Rd. for 2 miles. and turn right (north) on Amarillo Valley Rd.

Head north on Amarillo Valley Rd. for 1/3 of a mile and turn left (west) on Century Rd.

Head west on Century Rd. for 3 miles and turn left (south) on Warren Rd.

Head south on Warren Rd. for about 1/4 of a mile.  Turn left into the gate, you're there!
